ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES

The Institution offers training to both male and female, day and boarding in the following courses;

Non-Formal Programme (Short Courses 3 -6 Months )

  1. Automotive Mechanics ( Computer car diagnosis, car servicing, computerized wheel alignment, motor cycle repair and maintenance).
  2. Electricity  ( Solar/ renewable energy, programmable logistics controller (PLC), Motor rewinding, TV, Phone and Radio repair, Domestic Installation, Industrial installation, Electrical installation drawing & design).
  3. Welding and Fabrication ( Fabrication of domestic metallic furniture and structural fabrication, manual metal arc welding, oxy-acetylene / Gas welding, TIG & MIG welding).
  4. Wood works. (Furniture production/ Joinery, wood finishing, Basic architectural work, Upholstery).
  5. Building (Basic architectural work, Masonry work, Floor and wall tile lying, Concrete works/ products i.e. paving making and laying, fence poles, blocks roofing tiles bricks).
  6. Hair dressing and beauty (Hair dressing, Chemical hair reformation services, Hair treatment, Hair barbering, Facial makeup).
  7. Tailoring (Embroidery, Ladies ware gents ware, children's ware).
  8. Catering ( Cookery, Bakery, Pastry, Confectionery). 

Entry Requirements

  • At least P.7 leavers, however, entry requirements may vary depending on the program.

Intake

a) August to September for Diploma Courses
b) February to Mid March for Certificate courses
c) January to December for non formal courses
